If you only use a small number of contractors then you can simply ask them to demonstrate their Stage 1 H&S competence by producing a valid certificate issued by a SSIP Member Scheme – such as the SMAS Worksafe Contractor scheme. Every Programme managed by SMAS is individually tailored to meet the Clients specific needs but will typically offer:

  • Assistance in the transition to an SSIP ethos to contractor assessments.
     
  • Management of all your Stage 1 assessments either through the verification of existing SSIP Member Scheme certification or the completion of our own Worksafe certificate
